Systems Integration Engineer

This SYSTEM INTEGRATION ENGINEER will provide expertise in integrating, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment and provide operations and maintenance (O&M) support for a custom software package developed specifically for high performance computing systems. You will build, install, monitor, troubleshoot, upgrade and provide configuration management of custom software on high performance computing systems.

• Task Required Skills:
• Ability to integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software.
• Generate documentation for the full software stack.
• Update software for sustainment support.
• Basic Linux system administration skills and shell scripting.
• Execute test codes for characterization of software performance.
• Experience using the Unix command line
• Experience writing scripts using Bash/Python
• Experience with sustaining mission applications deployed in a Unix environment
• Experience compiling and installing programming languages such as Perl, Python, C
• Experience with interacting with customers

Task Desired Skills:

• Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• General high performance computing technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage components
• Familiarity with SQL databases

Qualifications: Must be a U.S. citizen and currently possess a TS/SCI security clearance with full scope polygraph. A Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline and at least six (6) years of experience. Five (5) years full time related work experience can be substituted for the degree.
