Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Table Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining table saw equipment to produce precise cuts on various materials, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. Your expertise will contribute to efficient fabrication, assembly, and finishing of products, supporting our commitment to excellence and safety in a fast-paced factory environment. Responsibilities

  • Operate the table saw machine safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and operational procedures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to determine cutting specifications.
  • Set up and calibrate the table saw, adjusting blades, fences, and stops to achieve precise cuts according to project requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the table saw equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify cut dimensions and tolerances.
  • Collaborate with team members on assembly lines or fabrication stations to support seamless production workflows.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly for safety and efficiency.

Experience

  • Proven experience operating industrial woodworking or metalworking machinery, particularly table saws in a manufacturing or factory setting.
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming, CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming, or related machining processes is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and materials handling equipment such as forklifts.
  • Mechanical aptitude with understanding of tooling setup, fabrication techniques, welding, stamping presses, press brake machines, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately for quality control purposes.
  • Prior warehouse or manufacturing facility experience demonstrating adherence to safety standards and quality assurance practices.
