Job Description: The Tactical Sourcing Leader is responsible for collecting quotes, negotiation, and finalization of External Contract Manufacturers and Outsourcing Suppliers. This role oversees the "Tactical Sourcing Factory" - a centralized hub for efficient, standardized sourcing execution - while driving process improvements and technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

Tactical Sourcing Strategic Management:

  • Own and optimize the Tactical Sourcing Factory concept - a centralized, process-driven approach to high-volume, repeatable sourcing activities.
  • Standardize and streamline sourcing workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize cycle times.
  • Implement factory metrics to measure throughput, quality, and cost-effectiveness of tactical sourcing activities.

Process Excellence & Technology:

  • Collaborate with the Center of Excellence (COE) to drive continuous process improvements, targeting 5% annual efficiency gains.
  • Leverage AI and advanced analytics to automate routine tasks, improve decision-making, and enhance sourcing outcomes.
  • Implement and maintain digital tools to support tactical sourcing operations.
  • AI/automation adoption rate in sourcing processes. Cycle time reduction for tactical sourcing activities
  • Advanced analytical capabilities with proficiency in data visualization tools.
  • Develop and report on tactical sourcing metrics, KPIs and service delivery.
  • Provide regular performance dashboards to senior leadership.

Cross Functional Collaboration, Regulatory and Compliance

  • Comply with all standard operating procedures in place relevant to your work activities ensuring not to perform any tasks you have not received training in.
  • Serve as primary relationship manager for internal stakeholders including product teams, operations, and finance.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve sourcing challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with global teams across different time zones.
  • Drive innovation and bring O&M first innovation to improve margin performance.
  • Collaborate with Proprietary Product Sourcing leaders on how to bring proprietary products capabilities in competitive analysis and drive process improvements.

Team and Resource Management:

  • Provide leadership people management to the teammates. Develop a high performing team of global procurement.
  • Establish, train, motivate, mentor and evaluate the team’s performance through the performance management process.
  • Responsible for setting and managing the department’s monthly and annual operating budget. To perform all other work as and when assigned.

Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure ECM success, including:
    • Enable Annual P&L Impact and P&L Protection by working closely with other leaders in procurement to ensure Procurement meets or exceeds annual goals.
    • Deliver 5% of higher cost savings from eAuctions and 3% of higher on eSourcing events.
    • Drive continuous improvement in ECM processes, tools (e.g., Spend Analysis, Value Tracker)
    • Reduce risk of tariff exposure due to reliance on sole source supply
    • SCM (Strategic Category Management) Development and Deployment
    • Catalyst 2025: Accelerate Value Delivery - pipeline build for next 3 years.
    • eSourcing on every sourcing event over $1MM

Qualifying Experience:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a related discipline.
  • 10 years’ experience in a data management / analysis environment, ideally within an International Procurement.
  • Experience working as part of an international team, and daily engagement with global stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing centralized sourcing operations
  • Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and efficiency gains
  • Experience with AI and digital tools in a sourcing context
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Advanced analytical capabilities with proficiency in data visualization tools
  • Capable of working in a multi-function team environment where strong inter-personal skills and effective communication is a necessity.
  • Experienced using MS Office, in particular advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
