Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Tailor specializing in ladies' fashion and traditional garments. The ideal candidate must have expertise in cutting, stitching, fitting, pattern making, alterations, and finishing of wedding gowns, evening dresses, abayas, jalabiyas, mukhawar (Mukhawar), tops, blouses, pants, skirts, and custom-made ladies' garments. The candidate should be capable of handling complete garment production from measurement to final fitting while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Take accurate customer measurements and conduct fittings.
• Create patterns, drape fabrics, and perform garment cutting.
• Stitch and assemble garments according to design specifications.
• Construct and alter wedding gowns, evening dresses, abayas, jalabiyas, mukhawar, tops, pants, skirts, and other ladies' wear.
• Perform garment alterations, repairs, and adjustments to ensure perfect fit.
• Work with luxury fabrics including chiffon, silk, lace, crepe, satin, and embroidery materials.
• Ensure excellent finishing, pressing, and quality control of all garments.
• Interpret sketches, design references, and customer requirements accurately.
• Supervise junior tailors and sewing staff when required.
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Maintain tailoring equipment and ensure an organized workspace.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Master Tailor in ladies' fashion.
• Strong expertise in pattern making, cutting, draping, fitting, and garment construction.
• Proven experience with bridal wear, wedding gowns, abayas, jalabiyas, mukhawar, dresses, and custom tailoring.
• Ability to independently handle complete garment production.
• Excellent knowledge of fabrics, sewing techniques, and garment finishing.
• Experience operating industrial sewing machines and tailoring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in luxury fashion, bridal couture, or bespoke tailoring.
• Ability to read patterns and translate designs into finished garments.
• Experience supervising tailoring teams is an advantage.
