Takeout/Hostess

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Takeout Host to manage online and phone orders while ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. As the first point of contact, you’ll be responsible for coordinating takeout, delivery orders, and phone orders, while setting a positive tone for our guests.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests promptly, creating a welcoming and professional first impression.
• Manage and process takeout orders from Grubhub, DoorDash, Uber Eats, and phone orders with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure all orders are packaged correctly with necessary condiments, utensils, and napkins.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and smooth order fulfillment.
• Handle phone inquiries, reservations, catering orders, and questions about future events at Antonucci’s.
• Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Provide guests with information on the menu, specials, and any upcoming events.
• Assist with other front-of-house duties as needed to maintain smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable handling cash and using a point-of-sale system.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and ensure timely service.
