Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist to join our human resources team. This role is vital in attracting, recruiting, and onboarding top talent across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, expertise in recruiting strategies, and a comprehensive understanding of HR systems and employment laws. You will play a key role in managing the full recruitment lifecycle, fostering positive employee relations, and supporting organizational development initiatives to ensure a high-performing workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, reference checks, and offer support
- Facilitate new hire onboarding and employee orientation
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures
- Support employee benefits administration and enrollment processes
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
- Coordinate required employee trainings and track completion
- Assist with workplace investigations, employee issues, and claims in partnership with the HR contractor
- Support updates to HR policies and the Employee Handbook
- Perform other administrative and HR-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of two (2) years of HR or talent acquisition experience
- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws, including California labor laws
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Requirements
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings, consistent with applicable law
- Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
Working Conditions
- Primarily office-based with occasional exposure to outdoor environments
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
