Experience: 5–6 Years

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, empathetic, and strategic Talent & Business Development Manager to represent and scale the brand of a leading Mental Health Speaker. This is a multi-faceted role where you will act as the primary bridge between the speaker and the world. Your mission is to secure high-impact speaking engagements, build a thriving community of mental health advocates, and manage the speaker’s public profile through strategic PR and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Partnerships

Lead Generation: Proactively identify and reach out to Educational Institutions (Universities/Schools) and Corporates (HR/Wellness heads) that prioritize mental well-being.

Sales & Pitching: Develop tailored pitch decks and proposals; negotiate speaker fees, contract terms, and technical riders.

Event Outreach: Secure spots at prestigious literary fests, wellness summits, and global conferences (e.g., TEDx, Josh Talks, Industry Conclaves).

Relationship Management: Maintain a CRM of past and potential clients to ensure recurring engagements and long-term partnerships.

2. Community Building & Management

Online Community: Oversee and grow digital communities (WhatsApp, Discord, or LinkedIn groups), fostering engagement through meaningful discussions and resource sharing.

Offline Engagement: Organize meet-ups, workshops, and "safe space" sessions to deepen the connection between the speaker and the audience.

Feedback Loop: Act as the "voice of the community," gathering insights to help the speaker tailor their content to current audience needs.

3. PR, Marketing & Personal Branding

Media Relations: Craft and distribute press releases; coordinate interviews with journalists, podcasters, and digital media houses.

Content Strategy: Collaborate with the creative team to ensure the speaker’s social media (LinkedIn, Instagram) reflects their latest insights and professional milestones.

Brand Positioning: Monitor industry trends to position the speaker as a "Top Voice" in specific niches like Workplace Wellness, Student Burnout, or Emotional Intelligence.

4. Talent & Logistics Management

Calendar Management: Handle the speaker’s schedule, travel logistics, and on-ground coordination for events.

On-site Representation: Attend key events to ensure seamless execution and network with attendees for future leads.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 5–6 years in Talent Management, Business Development, or Corporate Relations (experience in the Mental Health or Wellness sector is a major plus).

Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.

Skills:

Strong negotiation and "closing" skills.

Exceptional written and verbal communication (English and Hindi).

Proficiency in CRM tools and presentation software (Canva/PPT).

Attributes: High emotional intelligence, ability to handle sensitive topics with maturity, and a self-starter mindset.
