OVERVIEW:
We are looking to grow our team with a Talent Coordinator based in NYC. This role will focus on the employee experience and human resources administration – optimizing each employee touchpoint to reinforce our culture of high performance, transparency, inclusion, and results. The Talent Coordinator will assist in all aspects of human resources, supporting the department in everything related to our people strategy, from recruitment & talent acquisition, people operations, engagement & relations, learning & development, and KPIs/analytics. Working with every level and department within the organization, this role will report directly into the VP of HR to help support and partner with our teams across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR Administration
- Assist with all departmental administrative tasks and projects
- Help with the regular maintenance and up-keep of all systems, portals, HRIS, and third-party platforms to ensure accurate and up-to-date data and records.
- Assist with processing payroll and compliance, staying up-to-date on all labor updates, payroll tax considerations, and regulations
- Assist management with coordination of all reporting, analysis and research
- Help roll out and implement Open Enrollment and benefits administration
- Support any internal and external audits, quarterly reporting, and end-of-year processing
Talent Acquisition
- Help supervise the Onboarding of all New Hires, assisting with schedules & coordination so that each New Hire is set up for success with the right resources, training and support
- Support all talent acquisition initiatives, pro-actively helping execute recruitment strategies, utilizing social media, utilizing brand assets to attract and retain talent
- Help Managers recruit, screen, interview candidates, and provide direction on candidate selection.
- Support senior management in the strategic recruitment planning current and future hiring needs as the organization scales to grow
- Support adherence to local HR recruiting processes and ensure compliance with local legislation & guidelines
- Support Company branding initiatives – including growing the talent network, assisting with maintaining brand-right collateral, and creating a seamless candidate experience.
Talent Development
- You’ll help coordinate and track learning & development seminars, workshops, and training
- Help management engage, coach, mentor, and support our top talent and employees; helping reinforce and build Company culture & values
- Assist support of all performance management programs and succession planning
- Assist with planning, coordination & execution of all HR programs including counseling, personal development plans, performance reviews, and mentorship.
Employee Engagement
- Serve as a first point of contact for employees across the organization, answering questions and resolve issues.
- Help foster the development of a culture where employees feel cared for, valued, and engaged so they are set up for success and aligned with Company goals & values.
- Assist with the implementation & coordination of regular employee engagement initiatives to help motivate the team & build relationships.
- Assist with Company and departmental projects
- Help create Company communications, guidelines, collateral, swag, etc.
Employee & Labor Relations
- Help proactively monitor compliance and adherence to all local, state, and federal guidelines for labor.
- Help review and update company policies, procedures, and Handbook – ensuring comprehension and adoption.
- Assist with any employee issues and legal considerations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years HR experience in a generalist setting
- College degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- High EQ and experience working with sensitive matters and data with comportment and care
- Excellent written and verbal skills with a proven track record in effective communication with prior experience presenting
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work on multiple projects at a time
- Ability to work with multiple team members, stakeholders and leaders comfortably
- Proven track record of working in fast-paced and dynamic environments
- Proficient in various computer programs, software, and applications, particularly different ATS and HRIS systems
- Proficient in Office Suite, particularly excel, powerpoint/canva, publisher and Teams
