1. This is a physically demanding job. The majority of the tasks are highly repetitive and can take hours to complete. While some tasks can be done sitting, the majority of the time you are standing on your feet for the entire 9-10 hour shift.

We strictly adhere to SOPs to ensure we are surpassing quality and compliance standards in an efficient and effective manner. We are Tasty's, a team of creators that are elevating the cannabis edible industry with our simple, potent, and playful approach. At Tasty's, our edibles are designed to make you feel better, more often. Throwing it back to nostalgic days, we designed our cookies, gummies, and hard candies after our favorite snacks--except combined with cannabis.

Our vision is clear and uncomplicated: to distribute a line of simple, whimsical, and effective cannabis edibles, by the people and for the people. From the regular consumer to the newbie searching for an alternate option, we have worked hard to create accessible and delicious products for the masses. Note: Tasty's is the in house brand of Forty to Five. Forty to Five works with several White Label and Co-Manufacturing Brands, i.e. we make edibles for a lot of other companies too! The products we make for these other companies embody the same spirit and quality we have always come to create for Tasty's.

We are located at a beautiful, remote location near Sandy, OR. Our kitchen is built out of an 1960's Air Hangar set on 75 acres of mixed prairie and forest with ponds and creeks. We farm hemp in the summer! It is a really stunning place to work.

Given our location, proximity and reliable transportation are important. We are easily 45-60 minutes away from Portland, and 60+ minutes away from Washington County. Folks in the the areas surrounding Sandy, such as Troutdale, Fairview, Gresham, Welches, Boring, etc are conveniently located! Keep this in mind.

The On Call Entry Level Assembler is a great way to break in to the cannabis industry! It is for any experience level.

Daily Tasks n Things

• Assemble products according to SOP’s and regulation standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment
• Dishes, sweeping, moping, and deep cleaning equipment as needed
• Portion cookie dough, package products, band seal, label, and bag products for sale
• Work with teams to operate labeling, packaging, band sealing, or flow wrapping machines/equipment, etc.
• Follow all ODA and OLCC guidelines
• This is an ON CALL position, meaning hours are not guaranteed. If hired, we will let you know the week prior if we have available shifts for you the following week.

Skills n Stuff

• Food Safety knowledge. Understand ODA Food Safety Rules and follow them!
• Be reliable; we are a team oriented work place, being dependable is one of the most important things to maintain our teams workflow.
• Learn how to do things according to the SOPs, and adapt to new changes as needed
• Be able to stand on feet, lift objects, and perform repetitive motions for 8-10 hours at a time
• Basic Mathematics, be able to count, experience in using Microsoft office a plus

Experience

• Kitchen experience preferred but any of the following lines up: Food Processing, Commercial Kitchen, Warehousing, Line Cook, Barista, General Cannabis Industry, Metrc Experience, Marijuana Processing, Marijuana Production, or Marijuana Retail.

Compensation

• $19 / hr

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age!!
• OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit
• Oregon Food Handlers Permit
• Job Site is in a REMOTE, agricultural location: Drivers License & Reliable Transportation a must!
