Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their tattoo ideas, providing expert guidance on design, placement, and color options
• Execute tattooing procedures with precision, ensuring clean lines, shading, and coloring that meet high-quality standards
• Maintain strict sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff, including sterilization of equipment and workspace
• Manage appointment scheduling, client consultations, and follow-up care to enhance customer satisfaction
• Keep detailed records of each tattoo session, including designs used and aftercare instructions provided
• Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and safety regulations to continually improve skills and studio standards
• Assist in store management tasks such as inventory control of inks, needles, and supplies when needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tattooing with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and techniques
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures within a tattoo studio environment
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
• Basic first aid certification to handle any unforeseen issues during procedures
• Strong understanding of color theory to create vibrant and harmonious designs
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service by listening attentively and addressing client needs
• Skills in illustration or graphic design are highly desirable for custom artwork creation
• Experience in store management or retail sales is a plus but not required

Pay: $48,310.09 - $58,179.90 per year
