Position Summary

The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple tavern locations. This position provides leadership and direction to Property Managers and all Tavern Attendants, ensures consistent guest service standards, maintains strict regulatory compliance, and supports safe, efficient, and profitable operations across all assigned properties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Manage, motivate, develop, and direct Property Managers across multiple locations

· Provide leadership, guidance, and operational support to management and staff

· Oversee guest service standards and ensure a consistent guest experience

· Prepare agendas and conduct, attend, and participate in regularly scheduled meetings

· Establish, implement, and enforce company policies, goals, and procedures

· Resolve guest, employee, and operational issues in a timely and professional manner

· Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements, including Nevada Gaming and Alcohol Beverage Control laws

· Monitor and enforce underage gambling, alcohol, and tobacco regulations

· Promote and maintain the safety and security of guests and employees

· Work closely with other departments to support company objectives

· Evaluate performance of managers and staff; implement improvements or corrective action when necessary

· Maintain constant awareness of situations that could negatively impact operations; resolve, document, and report issues appropriately

· Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee information, guest records, gaming records, operational data, and training materials

· Ensure compliance with EEOC, labor laws, company policies, and gaming regulations

· Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned by the General Manager

Qualifications

· Proven leadership experience managing multiple locations or properties

· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

· Ability to lead, coach, and hold management teams accountable

· Experience conducting investigations and handling sensitive matters professionally

· Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Additional Requirements

· Must be at least 21 years of age

· Ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Card

· Ability to travel between locations as required

· Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
