Tax Analyst (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Tax Accountant to join a respected public accounting firm serving privately held businesses, business owners, and high-net-worth individuals. This opportunity is ideal for a tax professional with 3–5 years of public accounting experience who enjoys preparing business and individual tax returns, building client relationships, and contributing to tax planning initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local business tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and S corporations
• Prepare complex individual income tax returns for business owners, executives, and high-net-worth clients
• Research tax regulations and assist with tax planning strategies
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information and provide tax guidance
• Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
• Partner with senior accountants and firm leadership on client engagements
• Assist with consulting projects and other specialized tax engagements
• Maintain accurate documentation and deliver high-quality client service

Requirements

• Approximately 3–5 years of public accounting experience
• Strong background in tax preparation and tax compliance
• Experience preparing business entity and complex individual tax returns
• Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• CPA license or CPA candidate preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional time in the Allentown office
