Job Summary:

The Accounting, Taxation & Compliance Specialist is responsible for performing day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. The role supports financial operations, prepares tax filings, and assists management in meeting internal and external reporting obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the Trial Balance, ensuring that all debit and credit entries are accurately posted and balanced.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
  • Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Withholding Tax).
  • Ensure compliance with federal and provincial tax laws (FBR, PRA).
  • Prepare tax challans, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of changes in taxation laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with tax consultants and regulatory authorities when required.
  • Assist in tax planning and minimization strategies as guided by management.
