Key accountabilities & activities:

  • Review of Company’s documents to ensure compliance with Tax and Zakat Laws (including VAT, WHT etc).
  • Ensure vendor invoices received are compliant with Input VAT regulations.
  • Accurately preparing and filing tax returns (Tax, Zakat, VAT & WHT) in a timely manner.
  • Ensure proper settlement of all Direct and Indirect Taxes and their due reporting to authorities.
  • Review of all Direct and Indirect Tax matters and ensure all relevant compliance.
  • Coordination and liaison with relevant authorities for any tax related matters.
  • Coordination and liaison with external tax consultants on ad-hoc basis.
  • Preparation of necessary documentation for transfer pricing requirements.
  • Completing responses and schedules in preparation for tax audits.
  • Preparation of other reports, presentations and analyses on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Develop and suggest improvement in Direct and Indirect Tax processes and policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Provide support to Finance Function on ad-hoc basis


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, taxation, finance, business or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar role.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Tax legislation in KSA (including Zakat, Tax, VAT and WHT).
  • Experience in the submission of VAT and WHT returns in KSA.
  • Expertise in data presentation and accuracy.
  • Fluent in written & spoken Arabic & English languages.
  • Strong command over Microsoft Office.
