We are seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Tax Associate (approximately 3–6 years of experience) to join our thriving tax practice. Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic tax advice and support on a wide range of sophisticated commercial transactions
• Structure and advise on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings
• Provide tax guidance on finance transactions, including debt and equity offerings
• Advise on the tax aspects of real estate investments and developments
• Collaborate closely with clients, deal teams, and internal practice groups to deliver comprehensive tax solutions
• Support due diligence efforts and prepare key documentation related to tax implications

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active California Bar membership (or eligibility to waive in)
• 3–6 years of experience as a tax associate at a respected law firm (AmLaw 50 highly preferred)
• Strong background in transactional tax matters, including M&A, finance, and real estate
• Excellent academic credentials (GPA 3.5+ preferred)
• Superior writing, analytical, and communication skills
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

• Base Salary: $215,000 – $400,000 (DOE)
