Tax Compliance Officer

The Tax Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the organization fully complies with all local, state, and international tax laws and regulations. This role involves preparing, reviewing, and submitting tax returns, monitoring compliance processes, and advising management on tax strategies to minimize liabilities and ensure accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and file accurate tax returns (income tax, GST/VAT, TDS, etc.) within deadlines.

Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax legislation and communicate their impact to management.

Review financial records and accounting entries to ensure proper tax treatment.

Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities when necessary.

Support internal teams in tax planning, risk assessment, and documentation.

Monitor tax payment schedules and ensure timely remittance.

Identify and address potential tax risks and suggest corrective actions.

Maintain organized tax records and ensure confidentiality of financial data.

Assist in internal audits and compliance reviews.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com, M.Com, or MBA in Finance).

Professional certification (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, CPA) is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
