Tax Consultant

About the Role

Soft Dot Information Technology Network Services Co. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Consultant to provide expert tax advisory and compliance services. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring the company and its clients meet UAE tax regulations (including VAT and Corporate Tax), assisting with tax filings, and providing strategic guidance on tax planning to support financial efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise the company and clients on UAE tax regulations, including VAT, Corporate Tax, and other relevant compliance requirements.
• Prepare, review, and file tax returns accurately and on time.
• Monitor changes in UAE tax laws and regulations and communicate updates to management.
• Conduct tax risk assessments and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.
• Provide tax planning strategies to optimize financial performance while ensuring compliance.
• Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors and tax authorities.
• Maintain accurate tax records, reports, and supporting documents.
• Deliver training and guidance to internal teams on tax procedures and compliance best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CTA preferred).
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in tax advisory or tax compliance within the UAE.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and other relevant laws.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Proficient in MS Office, accounting software, and tax filing systems.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with high accuracy and attention to detail.
