Tax Preparer Trainee

Rise Tax Services is expanding our nationwide virtual tax team, and we’re looking for motivated Tax Associates ready to build a rewarding and profitable career in the tax industry! Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual client intake interviews, build rapport, and collect accurate tax information.
• Prepare and file individual tax returns in full compliance with IRS and state regulations.
• Apply current tax laws confidently — training and ongoing support provided.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients throughout the tax process.
• Promote your services using effective sales and marketing strategies to attract and retain clients.
• Be proficient in using social media and willing to promote your services online. Having a social media presence is a huge plus and can directly impact your earning potential.
• Represent Rise Tax Services with professionalism, integrity, and exceptional customer service.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Completion of IRS and state continuing education requirements (minimum 18 hours).

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of tax preparation experience.
• Experience in sales, marketing, or social media promotion.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
