Tax Trainee

Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Trainee to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to build a strong foundation in taxation. As a Tax Trainee, you will receive hands-on training, work closely with experienced tax professionals, and gain practical exposure to tax preparation, filings, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Support the team in tax documentation, record-keeping, and data entry
• Conduct basic tax research and help in preparing working papers
• Coordinate with clients to collect necessary information
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns and compliance with relevant laws
• Provide support during audits and tax reviews

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Com, BBA, BS Accounting & Finance or equivalent)
• Strong interest in taxation and accounting
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
• Prior experience in a tax firm is a plus but not mandatory
