- Prepare the timely deposit of Sales Tax each month.
- Ensure that relevant Supply Register, Purchase Register and Inventory Register are timely updated.
- Forward all the notices issued by the FBR in connection with Sales Tax and Income Tax to the Head Accounts & Taxation for further perusal.
- Assist Head Accounts & Taxation with drafting replies and any documentation to the notices issued by FBR in connection with Sales Tax and Income Tax
- Ensure compliance with Sales Tax Act 1990 and Income Tax Ordinance 2001 of relevant unit.
- Assist Head Accounts & Taxation to plan tax related matters, identify and mitigate involved risks.
- Coordinate with Head Accounts and Taxation to ensure that sufficient funds are On-time payments available to make payments
- Ensure on time disbursements of payments against invoices to procurement, logistics, imports etc.
- Ensure payments of electricity, Sui gas bills and other utility bills in a timely manner.
- Prepare aging of vendors’ / creditors’ outstanding balances and submit to Head Accounts & Taxation on monthly basis.
- Prepare vendors’ / creditors’ outstanding balances report and reconcile with company’s reconciliation party ledgers.
- Review and verify monthly intercompany reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
- Review and verify AP to GL reconciliation of accounts and ensure completeness of data.
- Review and verify the monthly bank statement reconciliations
