The Testing & Commissioning Engineer (Mechanical) is responsible for carrying out and supervising the testing, balancing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, ensuring they perform according to design intent, specifications, and client requirements. The role involves close coordination with construction, QA/QC, and T&C teams to achieve successful system handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and monitor testing and commissioning activities for all mechanical systems — HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting.
  • Review design drawings, specifications, and method statements for commissioning works.
  • Prepare T&C procedures, checklists, and reports in line with project standards.
  • Coordinate with main contractor, consultants, and suppliers during inspections and witness testing.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during T&C activities.
  • Identify and troubleshoot system issues during testing stages.
  • Verify and document test results, prepare handover reports and as-built documentation.
  • Support the preparation of operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals.
  • Assist in training client representatives on system operation, if required.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
