TCS Project Manager 1

Overview:

The Project Manager works under direct supervision of the Trimark Consulting Services (TCS) Manager to drive the assigned California Independent System Operator (CAISO) NRI Bucket Process projects and support Project Delivery teams. They work in collaboration with the TCS team of professionals with expert knowledge in the CAISO and RIMS process to coordinate with our customers, CAISO, contractors, regulators, and internally with our engineering, and business development teams. Regularly check-in with the TCS Manager to discuss progress, challenges and to receive feedback on projects.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Follow TCS standards and protocols ensuring consistency and efficient project completion
  • Co-manage CAISO NRI projects and resources on separate, overlapping project schedules
  • Work with owners, regulators, design teams, contractors, and sub-contractors to achieve project goals
  • Support project status meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Update NetSuite schedules and Tasks for NRI projects
  • Update Customer facing NRI portal
  • Prepare, follow, update schedules
  • Track and report on document and deliverables
  • Track costs using work orders and updating milestones

  • Gathering technical project information for various internal teams i.e. Design, equipment configuration and meter certification.
  • Efficiently schedule meter inspectors and field technicians
  • Collaborate with finance for invoicing and oversee fiscal goals for projects

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 0-2 years increasing responsibility in Project Management
  • Preferred: Understanding of CAISO Business Process Manual and the RIMS process
  • Preferred: CAPM or PMP certification
  • Preferred: Experience using NetSuite ERP
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer; this position is not eligible for sponsorship of a work visa


Physical, Mental & Emotional Requirements:

Employees may be required to sit for long periods of time using a keyboard and monitor display, travel to local locations, lift up to 20lbs, and push/pull up to 20lbs. Must be able to organize and prioritize work in accordance with deadlines, adapt behavior and work methods in response to changing conditions or challenges. Employees will be involved with sustained activity required for analysis, reasoning, and problem solving. Must be able to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships, recognize emotionally charged issues and respond appropriately, act with professionalism, and work both independently and collaboratively. Must be able to develop effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and outside partners.


Work Environment:

The employee will primarily work in a climate-controlled office with occasional fluctuations in temperature. The employee will work at an assigned desk under artificial lighting. The employee may occasionally attend meetings and/or training outside of their assigned workstation. Alternately, the employee may work on an established hybrid work schedule from their home or another remote location of their choosing with approval from management.
