Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that align with educational standards.
• Create lesson plans that cater to various learning styles and abilities.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Foster literacy education through engaging activities that promote reading and writing skills.
• Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and other stakeholders to support child welfare and development.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with teaching practices and educational trends.

Skills

• Strong experience with children, including toddler care and preschool experience.
• Proficient in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and childhood development principles.
• Experience working with students in the daycare/childcare environment.
• Familiarity with literacy education strategies and early childhood education methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Understanding of special education practices and early intervention strategies. Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
