Teacher

The Child Care Assistant Teacher will be responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher with planning and implementing the daily program of developmentally appropriate practices and activities for a group of children. Duties include identifying each child's capabilities and needs and assuring the welfare, health, and safety of the children in the group. The Assistant Teacher will attend pre-service and in-service training as required; understand and maintain compliance with NCEC Requirements; and all other duties as assigned by the center Director.

The North Carolina Early Childhood Credential, 6 additional hours, and 2 years' experience is a requirement for the position. If not met NCECC must be obtained within 6 months of hire and willing to work towards meeting requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
