Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team. We are looking for someone with a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment for the children in our care. This position requires creativity, patience, and the ability to engage with students effectively. The Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing a curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students while promoting their academic and social growth.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that supports childhood developmentand encourages student participation.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Provide individualized support to students, including those with special education needs and early intervention requirements.
- Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and other professionals to support child welfare and development.
- Facilitate literacy education, math instruction, and physical education activities tailored to students' abilities.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Experience working with children in a classroom or daycare setting is essential.
- Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to manage diverse classroom dynamics and provide behavior management strategies.
