Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement dynamic curricula tailored to early childhood education standards, including Montessori methods and preschool experience.
  • Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning to promote holistic development.
  • Manage classroom environments effectively to foster positive behavior management and ensure safety for children of diverse needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention.
  • Work closely with children to support their emotional well-being, behavior management, and overall welfare through compassionate care and guidance.
  • Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain an organized, inclusive space conducive to active learning and child welfare.
  • Conduct assessments aligned with standardized testing protocols to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and fellow educators to communicate student progress and develop strategies for individual growth.

Experience

  • Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or daycare settings is essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
  • Experience working with children across various age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, or students with special needs.
  • Familiarity with teaching physical education, tutoring strategies, and literacy education methodologies such as Montessori is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare environments.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
