Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and classroom management, with experience working with children across various developmental stages. This role involves designing engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students’ academic and social growth. The Teacher will play a vital role in nurturing children’s curiosity and ensuring their well-being in a supportive classroom setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that align with educational standards and individual student needs.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, and special education.
- Manage classroom behavior to create a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.
- Utilize classroom management techniques to support diverse learners, including those requiring early intervention or special education services.
- Assess student progress through observations, standardized testing, and formative assessments; adjust instruction accordingly.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication skills.
- Support child welfare by promoting social-emotional development and implementing behavior management strategies.
- Incorporate Montessori or other specialized teaching methods as appropriate for the classroom setting.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and lesson plans.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in childhood development, literacy education, and curriculum development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Special Education, or related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
- Experience working with children in preschool, daycare, private school settings, or similar environments.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing procedures.
- Experience with special education needs, early intervention programs, and behavior management techniques.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and developmental levels.
- Prior experience with Montessori methods or teaching physical education is advantageous.

Pay: $23.82 - $28.69 per hour
