Teacher

STEM Squad is seeking an enthusiastic, caring teacher to join our small-group learning program. We are a nature-based, STEM-focused tutoring and enrichment program serving students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade.

Unlike a traditional classroom our tutoring and learning pods are intentionally small, allowing teachers to build meaningful relationships and make a lasting impact on every child.

Position Details

• Part-time mornings
• Monday–Thursday
• Approximately 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• SE Gilbert

Responsibilities

• Teach reading, writing, and math in small groups
• Provide individualized support to students
• Foster confidence, independence, and resilience
• Participate in hands-on STEM activities
• Support outdoor and nature-based learning experiences
• Collaborate with a team of passionate educators

Preferred Qualifications

• Arizona teaching certificate preferred
• Elementary education experience
• Strong reading and phonics instruction skills
• Passion for helping children grow academically and emotionally
• Ability to create engaging, positive learning experiences

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
