Position Details

• Role: Paraeducator 1:1 High Needs
• Duration: Current School Year (CSY) contract
• Start Date: Immediate through May 22, 2026
• Setting: Middle School environment
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily assisted living support, including feeding and diapering
• Assist with changing and mobility needs
• Offer one-on-one support tailored to the high-needs students requirements
• Collaborate with educational staff to implement individualized support plans
• Ensure a safe and comfortable learning environment for the student
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Paraprofessional license required
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) license accepted if accompanied by an active parapro license
• ELS PARA Endorsement accepted and preferred for this role
• Prior experience working with high-needs students is highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support the student and collaborate with the educational team
