Teacher Assistant (TA) – Center of Excellence (COE)

Position Purpose:

The Teacher Assistant (TA) at the Center of Excellence (COE) will support the COE Teacher and

the Project Manager and Learning Technology Manager in managing teaching activities, recording

sessions, maintaining equipment, and ensuring smooth operational support. The TA will play a key

role in facilitating high-quality teaching and learning experiences within the COE.

Key Responsibilities:

- Session Recording & Technical Support

Record all teaching sessions led by the COE Teacher.

Operate and maintain cameras, audio, and related recording equipment.

Creatively capture sessions and perform basic to intermediate video editing of recorded sessions

for documentation and dissemination purposes.

- Teacher & Manager Support

Assist the COE Teacher in preparation and execution of classes.

Provide logistical and administrative support to the Project Manager and Learning Technology

Manager when required.

Coordinate with other teachers and staff to ensure timely delivery of activities.

- Relationship & Communication Management

Build and maintain a friendly, supportive working relationship with teachers and staff.

Act as a point of contact for the COE Teacher and the Project Manager and Learning Technology

Manager regarding day-to-day operational support.

- Travel & Availability

Be available and willing to travel as required by the Project Manager and Learning Technology

Manager or COE for trainings, events, or off-site sessions.

Maintain flexibility in working hours to support the COE’s dynamic needs.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

- Demonstrated experience in video recording, camera operation, and video editing.

- Creative mindset for capturing and editing engaging footage.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with teachers and

management.

- High degree of reliability, organization, and adaptability.

- Willingness to travel for work-related tasks.
