Teacher (B/VI T/VI) of the Visually Impaired-Full Time

We are searching for a qualified Full time Teacher of the Visually Impaired to join one of our trusted school districts in Belleville, IL.

At TheraPeds we believe in hiring and skilled contract SPED teachers and therapists as well as working closely with school districts in a collaborative approach. As SPED providers ourselves, we know the ins and outs of working in the school systems as well as the importance in finding the right fit, feeling supported, manageable student and caseload sizes as well as access to resources.

• 6 school buildings and 1 homebound student.
• majority of our caseload is PreK-8.

Job Requirements

• MUST ALREADY BE OR ELIGIBLE FOR LICENSURE in IL
• VISION SPECIALIST
• MUST BE OM Certified
• Teaching experience required
• Background and criminal history check
• Case management duties
• Team collaboration
• Student support services

Pay & Benefits

• This position will be a 1099 contractor
• Hourly rate varies on experience, education and location
