Facilitates student understanding and application of concepts consistent with Idaho Content Standards through direct instruction, modeling, and encouragement of student participation in learning. Supports students in meeting academic and personal goals.
Contract amount & FTE of this position will be calculated/prorated using actual start date through the end of the 2025-26 school year.

There are stipends available for education levels at Doctorate Degree and National Board Certification. The full-year contract is for 190 days.
New teachers to LPOSD are paired with a Mentor Teacher during your first year of employment, assisting you in establishing yourself in the profession and the District. Instructional Coaches are available to all Teachers for curriculum implementation, and Professional Development is routinely available. Six weeks paid Maternity Leave. Minimum Qualifications
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, Idaho Teaching Credential with endorsement for related subject area
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents/guardians and other stakeholders
- Ability to utilize classroom instructional technology
