We are seeking a warm, creative, and dedicated Pre Primary Teacher to join our Montessori school community. In this role, you will foster a nurturing, child-centered environment for children aged 18months to 3 years and 3 Years to 6, guiding them through a curriculum inspired by Montessori principles. Your goal will be to support holistic development—cognitive, social, emotional, and physical—by encouraging independence and hands-on learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the Environment: Create and maintain a carefully prepared classroom that reflects Montessori principles, ensuring materials are accessible and child-friendly.
- Plan and Implement Curriculum: Design and execute engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that cater to each child's unique learning pace.
- Observe and Assess: Regularly observe and document each child’s progress, adapting activities and lessons to support individual needs and interests.
- Foster Independence: Encourage children to make choices, solve problems, and engage in self-directed learning while providing guidance when needed.
- Communication: Maintain open, respectful communication with parents, providing updates on their child’s progress and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate: Work closely with other teachers and school staff to share ideas, plan projects, and continuously improve the classroom experience.
- Adhere to Montessori Principles: Utilize Montessori materials effectively and model behaviors that promote respect, responsibility, and community within the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Certification or degree in Montessori Education or Early Childhood Education prefer erred.
- Previous experience working with preschool or pre primary-aged children.
- In-depth understanding of Montessori philosophy and its application in early childhood settings.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for fostering the holistic development of young children.
