Job Description Aldar Education are currently seeking an outstanding Teacher - Mathematics for Noya British School in Abu Dhabi to commence next Academic Year AY2026/27.

Responsibilities
  • Be committed to developing positive relationships with all members of the school community.
  • Work with colleagues to plan engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum.
  • Liaise with colleagues and work flexibly.
  • Work cooperatively with curriculum support staff (where applicable) to support children's development.
Teaching and Learning
  • Clear understanding of the Curriculum.
  • Organise classroom provision and learning resources and create displays to encourage a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Plan, prepare and present sessions that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class.
  • Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative teaching.
  • Observe and assess children in line with school assessments.
Assessment and Data
  • Take responsibility for the progress of a class.
  • Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of students' development using Target Tracker.
  • Use data from assessments to influence further planning, provision and intervention.
  • Provide feedback to parents and carers on a student's progress at Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings.
Behaviour Management and Duties
  • Follow the school's behaviour policy.
  • Manage classes effectively, using approaches appropriate to students' needs to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils.
  • Carry out duties as directed and within the school's policy.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification (minimum).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience.
  • Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child.
  • High level of professionalism and regard for the well-being of children.
  • Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
  • Respect for all members of the school community, irrespective of position, gender, age or ethnicity.
  • Positive and solution-focused attitude to working life.
  • Clean Enhanced DBS check or police clearance.
