Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and committed Mathematics & Science Teacher (Grades 6–7) to join our Academics Department. The ideal candidate will have expertise in teaching both Mathematics and Science to middle years learners, with the ability to foster logical reasoning, problem-solving, scientific inquiry, and critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Mathematics and Science aligned with the school’s curriculum.
• Teach core mathematical concepts such as algebra, geometry, fractions, decimals, ratios, and introductory statistics.
• Deliver key science topics including life sciences, physical sciences, earth sciences, and basic chemistry/physics concepts.
• Use project-based learning, experiments, and hands-on activities to promote curiosity and application of knowledge.
• Encourage problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical skills through real-life and STEM-based examples.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Prepare lesson materials, experiments, and classroom resources to support instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Mathematics and Science into cross-curricular and STEM projects.
• Incorporate digital tools, lab activities, and interactive platforms to enrich learning experiences.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that supports student engagement.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and educational standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of teaching experience at the middle school level (Grades 6–8).
• Strong knowledge of Mathematics pedagogy and Science curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students and parents.
• Ability to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for problem-solving and discovery.
• Strong organizational, classroom management, and assessment skills.
• Familiarity with educational technology, lab resources, and innovative teaching tools.
