Teacher of Mathematics

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for senior classes.
• Teach and explain advanced concepts such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Statistics.
• Design lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and learning objectives.
• Evaluate and assess students’ progress through tests, assignments, and projects.
• Provide remedial support to students who need additional help.
• Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills.
• Maintain discipline and ensure a conducive learning environment in the classroom.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to plan academic activities.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related discipline.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in Mathematics for senior classes (Grades 8–12).
• Strong command of mathematical concepts with the ability to simplify complex topics.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to work with diverse learners.
• Prior experience teaching students with special needs (desirable but not mandatory).
