The opportunity
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, dynamic, and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join our talented, experienced and collaborative team of dedicated and pupil-oriented teachers.
We offer the UK National Curriculum in Key Stage 3, combinations of IGCSE Mathematics, Statistics, and Further Pure Mathematics in Key Stage 4 and the International A Levels in Mathematics and Further Mathematics at Key Stage 5. Experience of and expertise in teaching A Level Mathematics would be desirable.
Our pupils consistently achieve outstanding outcomes at IGCSE and A level, with the majority of our Sixth Form cohort choosing mathematics as one of their subjects. In 2025, for example, 84% of our IGCSE pupils achieved a grade 7 to 9, with 41% achieving grade 9.
Mathematics is a highly valued and respected subject at Doha College, and our pupils embrace opportunities to experience Mathematics beyond the curriculum. The department has an extensive enrichment programme that includes; participation in international mathematics challenges and Olympiads, such as those organised by the University of Waterloo and UKMT. Maths Circles, house competitions and problem solving clubs that encourage creativity and collaboration.

We are a British international school and all of our lessons are taught in English. A high standard of written and spoken English is therefore essential.
