Brown School, an independent school located in Schenectady, NY is searching for teachers in the area of elementary for the 2025/2026 school year.

Job Description

• Create and maintain an engaging classroom environment
• Incorporate technology into teaching and learning
• Help ensure that the school's academic standards are rigorous, clear and measurable
• Develop lessons and activities that are aligned with the academic standards
• Ensure that students master grade-level standards
• Incorporate direct instruction, discussion, projects and cooperative work to engage students, keep classes focused and infuse a lasting desire to learn
• Display a commitment to diversity and creating a culture of equity, inclusion and belonging in approach to teaching and learning, as they are recognized and valued by Brown School

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
