Teacher/Floater

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Teacher Floater to join our team. You will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students. Your responsibilities will include assisting in executing scheduled daily activities, providing care for infants, toddlers, and Pre-K students, supporting childhood development, and implementing educational activities. Experience working within a TX Rising Star program settings is highly valued.

Duties:
- Assist infant room Teachers with bottle feedings, infant meals, diaper changes, playtime on the floor, class lessons, outside time

- Assist Toddler Teachers with daily activities, potty breaks, class lessons and activities, outside/inside play

- Relieve Teachers in the classroom, as needed for lunches, short breaks, scheduled and/or emergency time off.

- Assist with end of the day departure routines

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working w/children in a licensed childcare or educational setting
- Familiar with age-appropriate child behavior & learning concepts
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- CDA Certification or coursework related to Early Childhood Education is a plus
- CPR certification w/Pediatric First Aid training is also a plus

Pay: From $12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
