Education:

  • Minimum of 60 semester hours of post-secondary credit or 2 years of academic training beyond high school

Experience:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of full-time employment experience

Job Summary:

The Teacher Assistant will provide support to lead teachers in a daycare environment, assisting with classroom supervision, instruction, and daily operations to ensure a safe and engaging setting for young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead teacher with classroom activities and supervision.
  • Support small groups or individual students under the direction of the lead teacher.
  • Help prepare and organize learning materials.
  • Perform clerical, administrative, and non-instructional tasks as assigned.
  • Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
  • Support positive classroom management and student engagement.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Dependable, organized, and proactive in classroom support duties.
  • Good English language proficiency.
