Teaching Assistant in Electrical Engineering

Under the supervision of the Dean of College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, the Teaching Assistant will provide help for instructors of assigned courses, support capstone students, and assist with any special projects assigned by the Dean’s Office. This position ensures the efficient and effective delivery of many courses in the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delivers tutorial sessions.
• Holds office hours.
• Assists in marking assignments, reports, and projects.
• Assists in laboratory sessions and open laboratory hours.
• Prepares course folders material.
• Supports capstone students.
• Assists with research projects.
• Assists with academic advising.
• Assists with exams proctoring.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• A minimum GPA of 3.5.
