Team Leader (Chief Resident Engineer)

The individual in this position will oversee and manage engineering projects, ensuring quality control and adherence to project timelines and budgets. The Team Leader will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, liaise with stakeholders to ensure compliance with project objectives, and provide technical guidance to project teams daily. Responsibilities also include monitoring project progress, addressing challenges, and ensuring all deliverables align with quality standards and client requirements

.Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the project team in the planning, design review, construction supervision, and completion of road projects
• Act as Team Leader / Chief Resident Engineer, providing strategic direction and technical oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, contractual obligations, and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review and approve technical documents, drawings, method statements, and progress reports.
• Monitor project progress, quality, cost, and schedule, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and performance management to engineering and site supervision staff.
• Represent the project in meetings and provide clear, professional communication with all parties.

Key requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering – preferably master’s in Civil Engineering / Highway Engineering / Transportation Engineering / Construction Management / Project Management or equivalent.
• Preferably 15 years’ experience as Resident Engineer and preferably 10 years as Chief Resident Engineer / Team Leader / Project Manager on road projects.
• Preferably minimum 5 years having Overseas / International Experience.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: Rs400,000.00 - Rs700,000.00 per month
