Team Leader Data Analyst

The Senior Data Analyst – Team Leader is responsible for leading the data analytics function, driving data-driven decision-making, and managing a team of analysts. This role ensures high-quality data analysis, reporting, and insights while enhancing analytics capabilities and aligning with business objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data analysts, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
  
• Oversee the analysis and interpretation of complex data sets to support strategic decision-making.
  
• Design and implement data models, dashboards, and reports for business stakeholders.
  
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across all data processes.
  
• Guide the team in data cleaning, transformation, validation, and ETL processes.
  
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and manage databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  
• Utilize Python (pandas, numpy) for advanced data analysis and automation.
  
• Drive the use of data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI for impactful reporting.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver actionable insights.
  
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and advanced analytics.
  
• Support big data initiatives, including tools like Apache Spark.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in SQL and database management systems.
  
• Advanced proficiency in Python for data analysis.

Experience & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  
• Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience in data analysis, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or team lead role .
