Job Title: Team Leader - PRO
Department: Operations / Government Relations Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Reports to: Operations Manager
Job Purpose:
The PRO Team Leader will oversee and manage the company’s team of Public Relations Officers (PROs), ensuring that all government-related tasks and client requirements are executed efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with UAE labor and immigration laws. This role involves both office-based coordination and occasional field activities to support essential company operations.
The ideal candidate will ensure all PROs are well-coordinated, fully utilized, and aligned with company objectives while maintaining high service standards for internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Supervision & Coordination
• Lead, supervise, and manage a team of PROs across different locations (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and other Emirates).
• Assign and monitor daily tasks received from Management, Key Account Managers (KAMs), and internal departments.
• Ensure new client requests are reviewed, verified, and delegated to the appropriate PRO in the correct location.
• Track task progress and ensure timely completion of all assignments.
• Conduct daily check-ins and weekly reviews to monitor performance, workload, and task distribution.
• Take up additional tasks or responsibilities as and when required to meet business needs.
• Development, coaching, training team members as required to meet business needs.
Quality Control & Compliance
• Review and verify all information, findings (including process, documents required, timeline, cost details etc.) and documentation prepared by PROs before submission to Management, KAMs, or other teams.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all government submissions (visa, labor, licensing, and other official processes).
• Maintain compliance with UAE labor laws, immigration regulations, and company SOPs.
• Regularly update the management team, KAM and Operations Team on government policy or procedural changes.
Petty Cash & Finance Coordination
• Supervise PROs in managing petty cash disbursement and bill submission.
• Ensure all bills are accurate, verified, and submitted on time.
• Coordinate with authorized signatories and Finance team to ensure timely petty cash replenishments.
• Maintain transparency and accountability in financial documentation.
Operational Support
• Coordinate with the Operations and KAM teams to ensure client requirements are handled promptly.
• Ensure smooth communication and workflow between PROs, KAMs, and other departments.
• Ensure PRO schedules and routes are optimized for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Handle escalations, resolve bottlenecks, and provide quick solutions to operational challenges.
Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain a daily and weekly report on PRO activities and task completions.
• Submit periodic performance and productivity reports to Management.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all company-related government transactions and licenses.
Field Responsibilities (30%)
• Represent the company in key government offices for high-priority or confidential matters.
• Support with complex or escalated government-related tasks when required.
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE government procedures (MOHRE, GDRFA, ICA, DED, Municipality, DHA, etc.).
• Excellent coordination and task management abilities.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English and fluency in Arabic (Read, Write, Speak) is mandatory.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Professional attitude, integrity, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of UAE experience in PRO / Government Relations roles, including at least 2–3 years of team management experience.
• Proven Team management or Supervisory experience in a similar environment (PRO or Manpower service company preferred).
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor, immigration, and visa regulations.
• Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
Work Conditions:
• Work Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Work Distribution: 70% office-based (team management, coordination, reporting) and 30% external (essential company tasks).
Summary:
The PRO Team Leader will act as the central coordinator between the Management, KAM, Operations and the PRO team, ensuring all operations run smoothly, accurately, and in compliance with UAE laws. This role requires a proactive leader capable of maintaining high efficiency, accuracy, and accountability across all PRO operations.
