Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service to enhance their experience
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for sales transactions
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision
• Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café or retail area, including food prep stations and POS terminals
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing quality
• Support sales efforts by upselling menu items or retail products to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, café, or retail environments is preferred, especially barista or coffee experience
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation, and food handling practices
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
