Role Overview
"As a Lead Business Consultant you will help implementation of Lending Solutions for global financial institutions covering Commercial Loan Servicing - Deal Creation into Servicing (DCIS) with a variety of deal types viz. Syndications, Participations, Bilaterals, Real estate, Asset-based lending, Letters of credit, Guarantees, Discounted instruments, Multi-currency, branch, portfolio, User-filtered values by portfolio, Complex credits
You should have hands-on experience implementing at least one or more leading Lending solution such as: Loan Servicing Solutions viz. Finastra Loan IQ, nCino, AFS Vision, Temenos"
Key Responsibilities
"You will lead mission-critical programs with accountability for business outcomes, stakeholder alignment, and the acceleration of straight-through processing (STP), operational resilience, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Own the delivery roadmap for Lending programs, align executive sponsors, and drive measurable outcomes (STP%, latency reduction, cost-to-serve, and operational KPIs).
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex functional and implementation issues.
Solution Strategy & Architecture
- Define future-state payment operating model and solution architecture, aligning with industry standards.
- Evaluate build/buy/integrate options and vendor products; guide RFPs and vendor selection.
Requirements, Design & Integration
- Lead discovery workshops; finalize business/functional requirements for payment initiation, validation, screening, routing, clearing/settlement, exceptions, and reconciliation.
- Direct data mapping and transaction flow design across upstream systems and downstream systems; ensure field-level precision for migration.
Controls, Risk & Compliance
- Partner with Compliance/Legal on regulatory change management.
Delivery Excellence & Testing
- Govern end-to-end delivery across Agile/Scaled Agile or Waterfall methodologies; lead SIT, regression, performance, and UAT; sign off on readiness criteria.
- Drive cutover planning, fallback strategies, and hypercare with strict SLAs.
Performance Optimization & Operations
- Establish operational metrics; lead continuous improvement sprints.
- Oversee configuration tuning and throughput optimization for peak-volume events.
Client Advisory, Training & Change Management
- Conduct executive briefings; develop training curricula and adoption plans for Business Operations, IT, and Compliance.
- Produce playbooks, SOPs, and knowledge assets to institutionalize best practices.
Practice Development & Mentoring
- Coach consultants and analysts; build reusable frameworks, accelerators, and estimation models.
- Support pre-sales, POVs, proposals, and thought leadership."
Domain Expertise
- Strong Knowledge of Commercial/Corporate Lending (e.g., bilateral facilities, syndications, ABL, CRE), loan lifecycle and agency administration; familiarity with leading platforms (Commercial Loan Servicing, Finastra Loan IQ, nCino, AFSVision, Temenos) for benchmarking.
