Job Title: Tech Support
Location: Indore
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L1/L2 technical support for servers, networks, and IT infrastructure.
- Monitor system health, performance, and uptime using tools such as Zabbix or similar.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues efficiently.
- Manage and troubleshoot services and protocols including SMTP, SFTP, SMB, and perform network diagnostics using Ping, Traceroute, and Nslookup.
- Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of IDS/IPS and other security tools.
- Handle incident alerts, log analysis, and escalate issues per SLA requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams for system maintenance, patching, and updates.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and create SOPs for recurring incidents.
- Provide remote and on-site support ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.
- Maintain adherence to security, compliance, and operational policies.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
- Strong understanding of Operating Systems (Windows & Linux) and server environments.
- Basic knowledge of network fundamentals – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana).
- Understanding of key protocols such as SMTP (email), SFTP (file transfer), and SMB (file sharing).
- Awareness of IDS/IPS concepts and basic cybersecurity monitoring.
- Ability to use command-line tools for troubleshooting network and connectivity issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational support environment.
