Tech & Warranty Rep

SUMMARY
rovides customers and end users with product and technical support by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reviews analysis of returned product for customer claims and confirms disposition of alleged defective product
Responds to customer inquiries to technical department regarding product application, installation, and troubleshooting of all products in company catalog
Maintains system to manage and track customer inquiries
Trains employees and customers on the proper use, application and installation of products
Analyzes customer claims/returns and technical calls for areas of product improvement or initiation of corrective action
Receives and processes warranty claims
Maintains resource library for technical support; manuals, tech bulletins, CD libraries, and other pertinent technical resources
Knowledgeable of and supports Human Resource, Quality and Safety/Environmental policies & practices. Strives for continuous improvement in their area of expertise and job function that results in better cost, quality, or functionality of the products we deliver to our customers
Promote good employee relations and high morale
Demonstrate teamwork and respect by working constructively with co-workers to achieve the best results possible
All other duties assigned by the supervisor or department manager

LEADERSHIP/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ASE or State Certification, minimum engine mechanical certification

PHYSICAL DEMANDS, WORK ENVIRONMENT AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Work in a manufacturing environment
Exposure to heat, loud noise, dust, odors, dirt/dust and fumes
Frequently stand, walk, push, pull, reach, and grasp
Frequently lift and lower up to 50 pounds. Assistance is required when lifting over 50 pounds
Frequently carry up to 50 pounds. Assistance is required when lifting over 50 pounds
