Technical Consultant (ABAP/Fiori/CPI)

Summary: The Technical Consultant is a skilled SAP Basis / HANA Database Engineer responsible for maintaining and optimizing SAP landscapes, ensuring high system availability, performance, and security. Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential. The role involves daily operations, migrations, upgrades, and disaster recovery planning in on-premise and cloud environments. Ideal candidates will have deep SAP Basis and HANA expertise and a commitment to supporting critical SAP infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily SAP Basis operations, including system installations, upgrades, and configuration.

- Administer SAP HANA databases, including performance tuning, patches, backups, and recovery.

- Monitor system health and proactively resolve performance or stability issues.

- Support landscape sizing, migration, and high availability implementations.

- Ensure security compliance by managing user roles, authorizations, and conducting audits.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across SAP and HANA environments.

- Automate routine tasks to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

- Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.

- Stay current on SAP/HANA updates and best practices to recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of SAP Basis administration, HANA database management, and landscape support.

- Proven experience with SAP HANA performance tuning, backups, restores, and patches.

- Hands-on involvement in SAP system installations, upgrades, migrations, and high availability solutions.

- Strong knowledge of SAP security, user management, and compliance standards.

- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across SAP and HANA environments.

- Excellent documentation and communication skills.

- Strong written and verbal English proficiency is required.

- Certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate, SAP HANA Certified Administrator) are preferred.

- Experience with US/EU companies is preferred.

Rate: $ 18-25 USD/hour
