Technical Content Writer

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Content Writer with strong expertise in IoT technologies, embedded systems, industrial automation, and related technical domains. The ideal candidate should be able to transform complex engineering concepts into clear, structured, and engaging technical content tailored for developers, engineers, and decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

Content Development

• Write high-quality technical content including:
• IoT product descriptions & documentation
• Technical blogs, whitepapers, and case studies
• User manuals, API documentation, and feature guides
• Solution briefs related to embedded hardware and firmware
• Website and marketing content with a technical focus
• Create technical comparison guides, architecture breakdowns, and how-to tutorials for engineering audiences.

Research & Analysis

• Conduct in-depth research on:
• IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, LoRaWAN, Modbus, CAN, BLE, Zigbee, etc.)
• Embedded platforms (STM32, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, ARM Cortex, etc.)
• Cloud IoT frameworks (Azure IoT, AWS IoT, Google Cloud IoT)
• Industry trends in Industrial IoT, smart devices, sensor networks, AIoT.
• Work closely with engineering teams to understand product technology, architecture, and use cases.

Documentation

• Prepare clear technical documentation such as:
• Firmware / hardware documentation
• API references
• SDK guides
• Integration documentation for IoT gateways and platforms
• Ensure consistency, clarity, and accuracy across all documents.

Collaboration

• Coordinate with Engineering, R&D, Marketing, and Product teams.
• Convert technical team inputs into publish-ready content.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new content ideas.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–4+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in IoT, embedded systems, electronics, or software engineering domains.
• Strong understanding of:
• IoT architectures, microcontrollers, connectivity protocols
• Sensors, PCBs, embedded hardware basics
• APIs, SDKs, and cloud IoT platforms
• Ability to read and understand technical documents, datasheets, block diagrams, and specifications.
• Exceptional command over English (grammar, structure, clarity).
• Ability to simplify complex engineering concepts.
• Familiarity with documentation tools such as:
• Confluence, Notion
• Markdown, Git-based documentation
• Figma / basic graphics for technical diagrams (optional)

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Background in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience writing for B2B industrial or engineering audiences.
• Understanding of industrial IoT deployments (SCADA, Modbus, PLC integration).
• Experience working with developers, engineers, or QA teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
